Another Man Trip

About a week and a half ago Adam, Craig, Ben, Erik, and Matt went on a golfing trip. They left on a Friday and head for Logan. They played 27 holes that day. They spent the night in Logan, got up the next day played more golf in Logan and then headed for more golf in Bear Lake. They got home later that evening. If you want more interesting details Adam will have to right about it, since I wasn’t there ( I’m a female). The only two things I’m jealous of is their lunch at La Bau’s (I don’t know how to spell it) and they got to have Adam for two whole days. I didn’t realize how much of a help he is. He’s a great dad and I really missed him.
Well, this morning Adam was up and out the door at 4 a.m. He is in the Young Mens and they have their High Adventure this week. They headed to JAckson Hole for some river rafting and camping. Adam has to come home tomorrow but he has to head straight to work. So it’s another two days of single motherhood. I just hope he doesn’t fall out of the boat!
July has flown by pretyy fast even though some weeks have seemed to drag on forever. Abbi is in swimming lessons. She loves the water and thinks she is soo cool because she can stick her whole head under water. She is a pretty good swimmer and is picking up the different strokes pretty good.
Caleb is struggling with nursery again. I don’t know if it’s just new teachers, new church, or if he’s beigh picked on. I hope it’s not the later, but with nurserys being mixed with older and younger you never know. Even though he is two and half, he is still pretty small.
Logan is getting big. He scoots around on his bum, he rocks back and forth on his hands and knees, he scoots backwards and in circles on his stomach, sits up, talks (babbles), loves big people food (pretty much all food). I can’t believe how big he is getting. They grow up too fast.
I’m looking for a part time job. Something I can do from home, or in the evening when Adam can watch the kids, or Cassandra can come and watch them. Any suggestions? I’m open for suggestions. I have and Education Award from the time I worked as an Americorp member. I’d like to use it to take a couple classes this fall. We’ll see if I can fit it in.
One more month and my little Abbi will be in school. She is so excited. I think this has been the longest summer ever! Caleb will be a little lost with out her but at least he has Logan, (and me).
Sorry for the extra long blog. I will try and do better at writing weekly so that they don’t end a mile long.

  1. I don’t think I could do it without DJ, so you are very brave and very nice to let Adam take off for a couple of days.

Sorry to hear about Logan and nursery, that has got to be tough. You need a hidden camera in there to find out what is going on. Those nursery teachers should be able to tell you what’s really up, so tell them to pay attention! :)
