Gunn Family Olympics: Day 11

Venue: Cherry Hill Family Day
Event: Best Caridiac Canyon Performance
Gold Medal Team: Adam, Jenny, Erik and Craig Gunn

Today was family day at Cherry Hill. Erik is in his fifth year as a Cherry Hill employee and we look forward to out one opportunity a year to enjoy the park for FREE! Jami and the kids spent the afternoon enjoying the opportunity. I headed over after work. The kids all love the blue slides – even Logan. Abbi thinks she is big and loves to go by herself. She liked to challenge everyone to races not realizing that our bigger bodies make us go a lot faster. Caleb loves the slides but is a little too intimidated to ride by himself. The highlight for me was completing a lifetime goal of making it all the way down the Cardiac Canyon as a 4-person chain without anyone falling off or letting go. Erik’s years of experience at Cherry Hill made sure we were set-up properly from the beginning and we were able to make it all the way down without even standing up. We all felt pretty good about the accomplishment. Of all the years I have been going to Chery Hill I can’t remember a finer ride. Congratulations everyone!
