Gunn Family Olympics 2008

In the spirit of the athletes participating in Beijing, we are proud to bring you the first ever Gunn family Olympics. The events are unique but the honor great to those members of our family who will prove their greatness over the next 17 days. The first event:

The Biggest Bone-head Moment
Gold Medal Winner: Adam Gunn

The biggest bone-head moment gold medal was won friday night when Adam arranged for babysitters to take Jami to the sold out Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band concert at the Kenley Amphitheater only to find out that the concert was really on the 18th and not on the 8th. He didn’t realize the error until entering the amphitheater and wondering where the crowds were. He described the moment as ” a lot like walking into a retirement home when you think your going to a dance club.” Instead of the Ryan Shupe concert, they had the opportunity to sit through three mediocre comedians warming up the crowd for the band Mid-Life Crisis. Needless to say they didn’t stay long. We just hope they honor the tickets next week.

Stay tuned for the results of more events including Biggest Temper Tantrum, Most Obnoxious Questions, and Best Excuse Not to go to Bed. . .
